This is my third year in a row producing St. Johns Well Child and Family Center‘s Movable Feast. It is so much fun for a fantastic cause. St Johns Movable Feast is a fundraising opportunity for the establishment that prides itself on providing Center, South and Central Los Angles with the highest quality healthcare, health education, child development and literacy education. They are also a leading healthcare provider for the transgender community.
At the event, there are endless treasures of food, wine and music. This year we used the historic Park Plaza Hotel and embraced it’s stunning, vintage Hollywood charm. The event’s emcee this year was handsome actor Carlo Rota who brought his equally gorgeous wife Nazneen Contractor. St Johns was able to snap up some of LA’s most incredible restaurants who were eager to do their part.
In attendance and crafting incredible tasty bites were, TerroniLA, TerroniTO, WoodSpoon, JeCook, The Factory Kitchen, Wexler’s Deli and Starry Kitchen. The Truffle Brothers (the name alone is delicious) also took part, along with Wally’s Wine of Beverly Hills who kept the crowd smiling with delicious wine and hipster cheesemongers educating guests on some of the most delicious European cheeses. Pazzo Gelato kept the sweet going with their amazing gelato and Cafe Dulce offered up frothy cappuccino along side Maru and there handmade apple tartlets.
